Virtual Panel MeterÖ Software, Test Measurement Software

Virtual Panel MeterÖ Software is a flexible, easy-to-use, low-cost test and measurement software for RS232 and other serial based instruments. The software can display data in a number of formats including digital meters, bar graphs and line graphs. Virtual Panel Meter Software provides alarm setpoints even if the instrument does not. If the instrument has alarms, Virtual Panel Meter Software can back them up with redundant safety alarms. Each software alarm can display a warning message of your own composition.

Data is stored at user specified intervals in standard ASCII format for compatibility with most spreadsheet and database programs. Up to 16 instruments may be connected to Virtual Panel Meter Software at one time. The software supports four computer communication ports. Additional ports are supported using an optional serial port multiplexer. The ordering number is SWD-VMETER
